So, here's the story so far...
Some dumbass (not going to mention any names... Since the name is mine) totally forgot his passport back at thier mates flat and had to learn a vey expensive lesson on NOT forgetting your international traveling papers. The lesson was a £70.00 Brotish Pound lesson. Which in US terms mean we spent $100.00 for 30 minute round trip taxi cab ride.
To make things even worse was that the girls went through great lengths to plan this little train excursion to Belgium. Hours spent making sure that we were all on the same train, same car, seated next to each other and that we were going to be leaving early enough to maximize are time. All of this coordination being done vie the onternet from two different countries.
Which pretty much means that after a 10 hour flight and staying up late to beat the jet lag... That we were up at 6am to be in a taxi by 7am to be ready to rock the train bye 8:30am. Yeah that last part didn't happen. Julie's friends had to go on without us as we took a train some 2 hours later just because some jackass forgt his passport.
Moral of the story? Not quite sure. Either don't forget your passport OR it's always maintain a good attitude towards the jackass that forgets his passport.
All depends on how you look at it!
Now on to dinner and Belgium beer!
